Discover South Africa: With more than 11% of guests coming from across Europe, it's one of the most sought-after travel destinations at the moment:

We have reason to celebrate! South Africa's entry figures for 2017 have been published and again we were able to top our 2016 success year: Last year, 437,837 tourists traveled from the DACH region to South Africa. That is an 11% increase!
From January to December 2017, 349,211 Germans (plus 12%), 29,602 Austrians (plus 7.4%) and 59,024 Swiss (plus 7%) visited the Rainbow Nation. We were thus able to defend our position as one of the trending destinations for long distance travel.

I never knew of a morning in Africa when I woke up that I was not happy.
— Ernest Hemingway, American writer

Why do guests return to South Africa again and again? They return to a country whose hospitality and friendliness can hardly be surpassed. You will find a delicious cuisine, excellent wines and countless attractions to visit.

The weather is almost always perfect so South Africa is an all-season destination. During its 'winter' season there are unbeatably cheap deals for all types of travel. Additionally, one does not have to plan well ahead to get a table in one of the gourmet restaurants.

There is no need for a malaria vaccine in any of the national parks and reserves.

A non-stop flight from Europe takes about 11 hours and there is a maximum of 1 hour time difference.
